Richard Jesel: I've come to the conclusion that some of the chapters in my book need to be rewritten, rather than edited. It was a tough realization but as Steve King has said, "Sometimes you have to kill your babies."


Richard Jesel: It's arrogant to say, but I think my greatest strength is actually having a lot of good ideas. Some I can put to the page while others are more theoretical. My greatest weakness - and I think God did this is so I didn't end up ruling the world - is that I cannot seem to refine and perfect that work on my own. So here's to all the great reviewers out there that help witless writers like me. Your advice is invaluable.

Richard Jesel: I fear I will never be able to write, review, or appreciate poetry. And though I know it is a weakness, it is better that I do not try, as a titan should not try to be a master ninja.
    Ms. Snyder: I honestly felt this way when I first started, but trust me, you will be able to find things that touch you, speak to you through the words and maybe as time moves on so will the art and form. Not all things do - not all writing is everyone's cup of tea. 2/3rd's of the stuff I don't even like and I write poetry. I just don't review it. So when you do see something you like, you will be able to review it but don't discount it because you don't write it and maybe down the line, you will find that you like it. Also, it turns over much faster in here... there's that too! Cheers, Fonda -
