Brewster: I take all reviews very seriously. I even put the review on the next tab to refer to it if there are corrections to be made. Reviewers who show you grammar errors help the most. As a writer you see and you don't see, if you know what I mean-Thank you, you all make me a better writer.

Brewster: I got reviews I did not like. But I grew from them and still thank the reviewer for being honest. Some writers are 'too touchy'. Everyone is not going to like what you write. Grow up as a Writer.
    Tina McKala: but the review must state something useful to be able to help amateurs grow up and become writers, right? -
    Brewster: True, but but it also up to the writer to gleam what he can from any feedback he or she gets either to accept it or reject it- -
    Domino 2: Some reviewers are pompous pigs who don't consider the feelings of the writer, and are more concerned with promoting their self-perceived 'knowledge', which is often unfounded bullshit.

    I try to be honest and constructive in my reviews, but I always think of how they may negatively effect, or upset, a sensitive writer.

Brewster: I spend about an hour just reading some of the stories and poems in FanStory. Some of the younger Writers really do have something to say.

    nor84: If you post a warning about language, no one should give you trouble about curse words -- although a few people will do it anyway. Curse words and whether or not to use them depend on the type of story and on the characters. Very few tough guys are going to say, "doggone it!" -
    Tina McKala: well, somebody will rate you low with no further explanation only because you use a few bad words, some will rate you low with no further explanation only because they read only one chapter and don't get the full story... isn't it irritating when people rate you, but comment on their own stupidity? -
