Tina Concetta : It's been a long time since I've been on here, so I'm just throwing something out there at the moment. Busy writing other things that I will surely post when I'm ready. Nice to be back. |

Tina Concetta : Sorry all, I've been away and now we're in the middle of preparing a move in a few weeks. Been crazy. Promise to get on here and catch up with everyone's writings and do some reviewing... soon, soon... promise! (have gotten NO writing done myself... urgh) |

Tina Concetta : So, if I just posted a chapter and kind of chopped it in half cause it was getting long. Should I just add the other half and word count be damned... or keep it chopped so I have a better chance of getting it read??? hmmm, what to do, what to do... |

Just keep the length of each chapter optimum. In order to get more reviews, you should try to keep it around 2000 words in each chapter. If a chapter is too long, reviewers may skip it. However, it also depends on one's reading habits. - | ||

Tina Concetta : I'm a new writer. I've just submitted my first short story to a contest. I'm also new here at Fanstory and trying to understand all the machinations. Seems kind of complicated. Guess I'll just see how it flies. Looks like it doesn't have a chance of being reviewed unless you pay to promote. I used most of my member dollars to do that. Kind of bugs me that I put in all that work to enter a contest and I have to pay for anyone to see it. |
