Emeka13: Having been a member for just over a couple of weeks, I should still be standing on one foot like the proverbial hen in a strange land. However the reverse has been the case because of the welcoming disposition of other members. It now feels that I have belonged here for much longer. I am grateful to you all.My posts so far have received the most positive reviews I have ever known. Usually people read my work like a column in Washington Post and throw it aside. Even my dear wife is guilty of the same. She has often asked when I was going to publish so we could be rich. How annoying! Confession, there is still a part of me which keeps wondering why people are so nice on this forum. Remain blessed, all of you. Emeka |

It is really nice being here, on FS. I feel so at home with everyone being very nice and encouraging. I often wonder what I did before I found FS. Thank you so much for being so welcoming and giving me this unique opportunity to share my work and receive honest feedback. Honestly, it's been great. Remain blessed. Emeka -

Sorry for this very late response. Must form the habit of reading comments on my profile. I must admit it no longer feels like I only joined in Sept. 2013. It feels like I have been here all my life. Sometimes it genuinely feels like I am doing too much of FS. My wife says I have found a new love but I know it's not true. Here is wishing everyone a fantastic Christmas and happy New Year. See you in 2014 renewed, revitalised and ready to go. Remain blessed, you and your families. -

It is never too late to say welcome to FanStory. It is sucha big family here with everyone sharing lovely work, experiences, fun etc. Such a good feeling. Remain blessed. -
Im not addicted, i can walk away from FS anytime I want to - I just don't want to. G.E. Parson -
Is it just because the word 'addiction' has huge negative connotation that we find it objectionable? Ask any drug addict and they tell you they want to quit but can't. That is what we all are. LOL. The good thing is that it does not destroy you the same way drug does. My wife has quietly gotten used to FS as she now refers to it as my 'First Love'.I don't know if that is good or bad. But she is genuinely ok with me doing what I find pleasure in. Remain blessed.Emeka -
