mrskristinball: I love my giant Ginny, a huge dog we adopted last spring! She gives the best hugs, and that includes hugs from humans:D

mrskristinball: Our ninety pound Leonberger dragged my husband across the yard, then came back to lick his face because he's sprawled out in the grass; didn't know if I should laugh or help...I laughed;) and helped, too.

mrskristinball: Celebrating 25 years of marriage with the man I call my husband; it hasn't been bliss, but it certainly has been an adventure!
DIS-illusioned: Bliss is simply being oblivious to the reality around you--like a baby born in prison.
Congrats and count your blessings. Enjoy the ride while it lasts. -
mrskristinball: "Bliss is simply being oblivious to the reality around you--like a baby born in prison" I like these words--so true! And ty for the congrats:) -

mrskristinball: No one can measure the worth of a human being...Jesus says people are priceless and showed it with His Blood; so, I choose every day to live the promise He tells--the promise of life filled with love and peace!
DIS-illusioned: "Jesus says people are priceless"
Exactly! So, why did my ex flip out when I told her she was worthless? :-/ -
mrskristinball: Do price and worth mean the same thing? Because I sometimes pay way too high a price for something that's not worth it...;) -
Selina Stambi: Good one, mrs.kb! -
mrskristinball: Thank you, Reachingforthestars, and I must say, I love your username! -

mrskristinball: Is it possible to read a poem without an emotional reaction to the content?
    DIS-illusioned: Yes, of course...if you're the Tin-Man. -
    mrskristinball: That's what I think, too:) -

mrskristinball: Is it possible to write a poem without an emotional connection to the content?
    vapros: Lordy, yes! -
William Walz: Sure. It goes something like this...There once was a man from Nantucket... -
shelley kaye: There once was a man from Nantucket...
    ....his name was william walz....

    -
mrskristinball: ...humor connects me to such content as this, so the feeling, what is it called? Is it not the emotional connection called laughter? -

mrskristinball: Poetry makes us think about that which is unseen, untouched, and unknown. KAB

mrskristinball: Don't let it win...

mrskristinball: Change, the world is full of change! Nothing stays the same, so all I want to do is love the change that must be made...
William Walz: You've inspired me! I think I'll change my shorts tomorrow! -
mrskristinball: Hooray! I'm so happy for the people who are close to you;-) -

mrskristinball: Learning and working to become an effective online tutor for essay writing is my most recent and most challenging career pursuit! And I love it:-) There is nothing more rewarding than teaching the writing process, and sharing a little bit, the love a writer has for the written word.

mrskristinball: â??The beautiful part of writing is that you don't have to get it right the first time, unlike, say, brain surgery."

- Robert Cormier

I love this quote for today, because it seems like I'm constantly revising my writing...As a writer, I don't have to have it perfect the first time I write it down, there's always room for improvement!
misscookie: I pray for peace every day. -
Chap Man: Kristin, I do not know how this works. Still haven't learned how to respond to my fans, or to those I'm supposed to be following.Chap Man -

mrskristinball: Okay, honey, I'm coming...Reviewing can be addictive!

mrskristinball: Love = Sacrifice + Faith

Today, I choose to believe in the ones I love, and give my life for them. So, that means I have to go on facebook, ugh!
DIS-illusioned: 'My' Love = woman, you better have my food hot and ready by the time I get back! + take off those clothes and get over here right now!
(And my mother wonders why a super catch like me is still alone) -
Nosha17: Thank you for your comment and request to share from my book. I will do that later on today, but in the meantime, I did post a poem for the first time yesterday, it was called, "Love Poem". Hope you enjoy it. Thanks again, Faye -

mrskristinball: Success = try + try again

Failure = give + up

By George, I think I've got it!
    DIS-illusioned: Reality = pig-out + pub + whatever! -
    mrskristinball: LOL! -

mrskristinball: I'd like to say my mood is fairly balanced on a daily basis; fortunately, my mood swings can be so dramatic in such short periods of time that each day is a mysterious adventure to be lived out loud:-)

mrskristinball: I have discovered that in knowing my gifts and talents and sharing them with others tends to piss people off...why is that?
nancy_e_davis: Yes, why is that? LOL -
mrskristinball: Ahhh, yes, you know it, Honeycomb; I can be a bit, let's say annoying, and that can be quite, well, annoying, so the answer is, "Why is that"? ;-0 -
Guncha: it is because you become a source of making others realize that even they are precious and god gifted..... its just they need to dive deep inside them and figure out their best just as you did :) -
mrskristinball: Beautifully written, thank you, Guncha:-) -

mrskristinball: I think it interesting that I put "Golf!" as my first profile interest and "Teaching" second...hmmm, what does that mean?
Calanatan: It means you should be a teaching Golf Pro!
    -
DIS-illusioned: It means you have 2nd graders picking golf balls out of the course lakes, while you Tee-off on the 16th hole. -
mrskristinball: I love both ideas...now, how to make it happen?
    -

mrskristinball: What can the purpose be for me? I try and try but fail to succeed.
DIS-illusioned: Look on the bright side; you did succeed...to fail. -
    mrskristinball: Oh, Dis-illusioned, I love you! -
    DIS-illusioned: Oh, and I love me, too! :-D) -
mrskristinball: You always make me smile;-) -

mrskristinball: Love is patient; Love is kind; Love is sacrifice of the heart, soul, and mind; May I love this day being patient and kind...

mrskristinball: I must do what I must do and do it without regret.
steevie : I'm lovin' your quote, "I must do what I must do and do it without regret."
Seems to me that I need to take stock in your words of wisdom!!! -
    DIS-illusioned: ...Don't do it! -
mrskristinball: LOL! Both comments are exactly what I'm feeling: wise and foolish, but I must say it again, "I must do what I must do and do it without regret!" Okay, now the question arises, "What the %#@*! am I doing?" -

mrskristinball: I really enjoy reviewing an author's work and hopefully giving valuable feedback. It must be the teacher in me;-)
Julia.: What grade do you teach? -
DIS-illusioned: "It must be the teacher in me"
In my case, it's the tyrannical control freak. -
mrskristinball: Teacher, tyrannical control freak, you can't be one without the other. I taught middle school, 5-8 grades, for twelve years. -
Keefer: Love your quote. Good things will happen with your faith!
    -
    Keefer: -

mrskristinball: Encouragement: To give courage to others with a respectful approach and honest feedback.

mrskristinball: Patience, that's what I need today, patience!
William Walz: That's the same thing my doctor said just this morning. I need more patients! -
mrskristinball: I love it, thanks for the chuckle...you are very humorous;-) -

mrskristinball: When will it get easier?
    shelley kaye: when you die....

    -
    mrskristinball: Amen to that! -

mrskristinball: Celebrate Labor Day! When we have work, we have a purpose. But does that work have to pay a wage to be purposeful?

mrskristinball: What is the goal?
AnonymousWisdom: To swim to Antarctica and live in an igloo, where I shall henceforth proceed to learn the secret language of penguins. -
mrskristinball: Ahh, yes, merci! I needed your perfect response at this very moment:-) -

mrskristinball: Even though I don't have an official teaching position this school year, I still feel like a teacher.

mrskristinball: As a teacher, this I know, those I teach, I must love them so...I can understand each student I teach with wisdom and gratitude.

mrskristinball: I love diversity! Different styles, ideas, thoughts, beliefs, dreams, hopes, approaches, opinions...it goes on and on. When I respect our differences, then life becomes very exciting!
Tina McKala: so true and so well said :) -
mrskristinball: Thanks, Tina, I think it's time we stop tolerating each other and start celebrating each other by respecting that which makes each of us unique:-) -

mrskristinball: This journey of life: must-have experiences of climbing the mountains and crawling in the valleys, adventurous memories of necessary sorrows and unexpected joys, the renewing cycles of death and decay which always leads to a new, exciting life!

mrskristinball: Why do I write? Because if I didn't, the words building up in my mind would explode out of my ears, my eyes, my nose, or worse yet, my mouth!

mrskristinball: When I write, I feel meaningful; I feel like I have a purpose and a place in this immense universe.
William Walz: Me too. My place is right behind the garage, next to the doghouse. -
mrskristinball: Is this your place by choice or force? Cause, it sounds kind of cozy, you know?;-) -

mrskristinball: Writing reveals the writer; it inspires the reader; it creates relationships over space and time.

mrskristinball: After twenty-three years of teaching, twelve years in my current position, I am without a teaching job this year. It happened for a reason, maybe so I can spend more of my time writing...

5-7-5 An Introspection In Seventeen Syllables Moments I Have Lived
I have found it rather amazing that an existence of time can be expressed in such few words and yet provide a specific and definitive explanation.

Great reviews:
Raw with emotion - love and pain, regrets and hope, truth and tragedy. It touched me at points, made me choke up.
