    Taffspride: Or four star reviews that offer nothing constructive. Just the reviewers personal opinion on how the think your work is good, but it did nothing for them. I see many (particularly new members) doing that.

    invisible.touch: I'm a newbie, I hope I'm doing it right. I have had a couple of four stars. I thought it meant there is room for improvement, and I don't mind a bit of creative criticism. I have only given five stars today though x -
    ItsMeLeo: yeah.. you did gave me a five...thank you so much.. like me I'm a newbie.. so we might be in the same pond.. I am happy to meet you here in fanstory... thanks for that comment by the way... and the suggestion.. thank you again. -
    The Death: And sometimes,people get offended by four stars,even when you suggest the changes.
    So don't take it seriously.
    Just grin and let it be..lol..just can't please everyone. -
    Jane Johnson: I thought with a four star rating, the reviewer was to give constructive criticism and point out the corrections that need to be made; not just your personal opinion. If you don't like a poem, then bypass it and don't say anything at all and don't rate it. To me, if it's not worthy of a five star rating, it's not worth reading. I have read many and then not rated them just for that reason. To me, a four star rating is a slap in the face unless you have some significant points to make, have reread it, read the author's notes, etc. I have forced myself to read a few that I really didn't want to read at all and found them to be worthy of six stars. The purpose of this website is not to discourage people from writing. There have been times when I had to lay low for weeks, because of a low rating with nasty remarks. It's true that you shouldn't take it to heart, but I do. I am very easily hurt and very sensitive. Maybe that's not okay, but that's who I am. -
    Selina Stambi: I've noticed that some reviewers go out of their way to make mean comments.

    Also, if you happen to get a four with no explanation... go in and check out the profile page ...yep! it's a newbie with no postings. I call it Newbie Syndrome! -
    The Death: We all have suffered from that syndrome then:-D.
