newtownforever: Hello. I am happy to be a new member of FanStory. I love to write poetry but have recently been working on a novel. It is a result of recent events where I live but not about the event. The story has been brought on by the feelings and emotions that have arisen out of the dust. I would like to share my first few chapters but am not sure how to do that. I am nervous about it being plagiarized. I don't think anyone here would do that but I would love some advice. I am going to also post a short story I wrote and I hope everyone likes it. |

I can't believe you're actually worried about someone stealing your writing. Why would they? You could take any concept, written by anybody, and revise it in a heartbeat. If a writer is clever enough to do that, they don't need to swipe your work. After all, your book "What a Difference a Day Makes" is the exact title of a popular song. You can't copyright a title no more than an idea, but you could've come up with an original title, but you didn't -- why? I'm writing an Amazon review of your book. Ted - | ||
