sher gay: Some days my mind takes control of my hand with pen and i write and I write and I write until the pain goes away. I put it down on paper exactly how the thoughts come to my head. This is my release. This is how I cope. I know how important grammer and spelling and poetry rules are. But I write with a different purpose. I write to pour the blood out onto the paper. The paper soaks my pain up. Then the blood dries. And I feel better.

    Shamanlight7: Here's a suggestion ...After you complete a writing....if you can copy then go to your e -mail account and create a folder for all your work and then paste them into your folder,,,Now they are in a secure place if you ever lose them they will always be in your e-mail account...then you can always have a permanent record of them...It's a little effort but it beats the heartbreak of losing your artwork....you may have to use a laptop because some phones are difficult to copy and paste with. -

sher gay: Personally, and this is only my opinion, I think writing is as much of an art as painting or sculpting. We, as writers, show our individual styles and flare in hopes to share something that eats away at us from deep within . No everyone may not always like the topic or agree with your words, but that's okay because it's art. A way that we express ourselves. All I hope for is respect. As we all should respect each others words as the gifts that they are. Even If we don't agree, our respect towards the right for us to share openly is a gift that we give each other as writers.

    DIS-illusioned: If your phone has internet access, locate the picture you want to upload and there should be an icon-button amongst the ones at the bottom of your screen that gives you an option to email the pic. Click that button and email the pic to yourself--your email address. Or, if you have a fanstory.com email then email the pic there.
    You might need to access a PC or laptop from a friend or wherever, to transfer the pic from your email to your fanstory profile page ...

sher gay: I choose to express myself by writing from a place deep within.
I choose to deal with pain through writing. Writing soothes my spirit.
Writing gives my spirit peace.
I choose to write openly, without hesitation, in the most raw and pure form. My emotions flow into my hands and I begin to type, nonstop, until I write the last line. I don't sit and ponder topics to write about. Often when meditating is when I feel the need to purge my soul of the pain. It's sort of like telling a poetry story in small segments and i can reognize each memory that id rather not keep in my head. The segments, each one different, accumulated together create one huge story . Each individualized clip in my mind has a beginning, middle and end. They are tragedies that have turned my life around for the positive. These lessons are lessons I never want to repeat.
I write so that I'm true to myself and the reader. Yes, it's raw and brutally honest. It's not sugar-coated.
It is what I experienced and the way I wish to share . I hope it helps people out so they know they don't have to give up. Life is precious.
