Celestina Waters: Wow. I got one low review and thought the reader was spot on in their depiction of my words, it still was a blow. It was then reviewed five more times all with high rankings and fun comments. So what I have learned is everyone reads poetry differently, some see the subject matter, some take the syntax or dissect the stanzas. I am encouraged to remain myself through my words and take the negative with the positive. Thanks. |

Celestina Waters: What element in nature is your greatest muse? * I ask because of the seasons change and all that piggy-backs upon it. *Honestly, I enjoy each drop of rain. Knowing it will flow and help life grow. My favorite birds are the robin & the red winged black bird. * Let's talk nature love!* |

Celestina Waters: I have found I enjoy writing reviews for poems and short stories, as much as entering my own works. |

Celestina Waters: What was your first Inspiration to write a poem or story? How old you when you wrote your first poem/story? What was it about? * My hobby as a child was to read the lyric sheets on the LPS while the arts sang the song. Their poems turned into songs were then made into music. The first poem I wrote was for my 6th grade class assignment. I titled the short piece "DIVORCE" |

Celestina Waters: I was raised in a buoyant, loud, and encouraging Italian family. My grandfather was a teacher of languages. His commandment of English being his fourth, and most used language, was almost divine. We would go on adventures on the bus around San Francisco, with the goal of noticing all the details about one person's attire, from simple shoes or a woman's broach. Upon our return home I was to write a story or poem about the character I observed on the bus. With that gift of silent observation my life has been enriched and detailed. My hope is someday I will follow in my grandfathers pen and give the English language the same honor as he. |
