I write because I have to.

Humanity fascinates me. Between 1996 - 2004 I hosted 10 foreign exchange students. I got to see the world through the eyes of Germans, a Bulgarian, a Pole and a Korean.

Humans are humans. Each wants to love and be loved. Each wants to have meaning and purpose in life.

I write historical fiction from the standpoint of the humans who lived it ... the common soldier. The civilians. The prisoners. The winners and the defeated. It is my goal to bring history to life.
