Healthyheartpoet: I am inspired to write when when I see pain and suffering. Most of it is unneccessay, as orthomolecular, holistic, homeopathic and naturopathic medicine will solve most chronic health problems, including pain. You can read my poetry and it will lead you in the right direction.
    Healthyheartpoet: Anyone with a healthy heart is unlikely to have diabetes. Anyone who has diabetes, is unlikely to have a healthy heart. -
    squid152: I have diabetes on both sides of my family. I am now 47. I think I have staved it off by riding my bike 20-30 miles a day 4 days a week and taking a daily regiment of vitamins. I also juice vegetables such as cucumbers, kale, red chard, carrots, cabbage and beets. So far no diabetes! -
    Healthyheartpoet: Yes, diet and exercise is the answer to a lot of chronic disease. The Gerson Therapy is a cure for cancer and it is entirely based on what you are doing. A vegetarian diet and exercise. So what you are doing is staving off cancer, heart disease and diabetes. A triple simple solution to a complex problem. Please notice that Bill Clinton is staving off heart disease with Dr. Essyltyn's vegetarian diet, even though he has had open heart surgery, which is not a cure. -
    squid152: I was approching 250 pounds and knew I had to do something. I went on the net and learned a lot. Since last April I have lost 40 pounds. I have always been very phsically active but never seemed to lose weight. I have not ate beef for 4 years now. I started juicing in April. Instead of eating eggs and sausage for breakfast, I juice. Then I eat chicken burrittos with beans or fish tacos for dinner. It has been working for me. I still need to lose 25 more pounds. That is why in an a hour or so I will take 20 mile bike ride to the beach and back. It is a beautiful ride. Now if I could just stay away from the bars! I am having too much fun! -
    Healthyheartpoet: wow! Beans and fish are excellent sources of protein, it's easy to do if your having fun. Eating a big green salad, with oil and vinegar before a meal is also a good idea -

That is why morphine and heroin is used for those in palliative care. Palliative is another word for terminal. Especially good to know when the grim reaper is at the door. Be informed of the alternatives to morphine and heroin. We are all directly or indirectly impacted by the pain of cancer, empowering yourself with knowledge through research will result in less suffering for yourself or a loved one. -
