solely a roving rambler, babbling over a barrel of cess-induced nonsense.

a disciple of eris, dr. demented pimento earned his doctorate of discord from the state of inanity

the good doctor despises demands that any work of art, be it painting, poem, or prose, ought to "make sense" or "have a message." he asks of his readers, does bitter love make sense? does the beat of a butterfly wing make sense? these things have beauty that defies definition, limitation, just as the right combination of words can call forth feeling from mysterious depths of soul, with nary a flicker of order. a good poem should make you think and feel; sanity is a prerequisite of neither.

the doctor holds the firm belief that poetry's purpose is to be the brushstroke expressing and extracting emotions; he believes that these emotions should not be limited to happy, sad, scared, or peaceful. favorite blends on his palette [some found in contemporary wordsketchery more than others] include aggression, disgust, embarassment, indignance, emptiness, recalcitrance, and resilience. the more ambiguous the emotion, the better.

he likes to violate the norm.

he wants me to tell you that if you happen to see norm, you should tell him that he can run, but he can't hide forever.
