bossmyers: Grace Anna Sings....since I was here last my little granddaughter has become a voice for the Lord on her Facebook page with over a million followers to date. She has endured several spine surgeries now, yet she keeps that big smile and peppery attitude! I hope to write about her as well as some other topics. I also have a new grandson, Evan who is almost 2.

bossmyers: My sweet Grace's 2nd birthday in late July, she was all smiles, God has brought her through so much in these 2 years. What a blessing she is!

bossmyers: My granddaughter Grace who is 22 months old and had double spine surgery at Johns Hopkins back in January is doing great. She finally got her last cast off on May 25th, 2012. She is in a brace for about 3-4 more months. She is such a sweetheart and the Lord has blessed us so much with her . She has many health issues due to her dwarfism, but she is a tough little thing. She can sing like you wouldn't believe, even though doctors say she is deaf in one ear. She just tickles me so much...such a wonderful joy in my life. My poem about her is so true...
    Shirley B: This is such a blessing. My granddaughter is almost 3 months old and her name is Gracelynd. We call her Grace. :) It sounds like your Grace is a beautiful little girl. I hope she keeps on singing. -
    Lady & Louis: Spinal surgery at such a young age, poor bub! Glad she's come through it all right. -
    bossmyers: After surgery she had a lung collapse. We thought that we might lose her about 4 days after the surgery. It took about 12 people and 2 teams in PICU but they finally got her intubated and then she was in like a drug induced coma for about 6 days. She has had 4 eye surgeries and has really thick little glasses, but the Lord is in control and I am so thankful for Grace...she makes my heart just so happy. -


bossmyers: Been going through a rough time in my personal life, but I know the Lord is in control. I know nothing catches Him by surprise, so I just have to trust in Him and keep my eyes fixed upon Him. Hope everyone is having a blessed day!


bossmyers: I have had some issues in life that sometimes wear us down, so I have not been writing or posting, but I think I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

    Lady & Louis: Reviewing is the way to get money for promotion. You may not be able to post so often, but put things a little higher. Don't forget that really high-paying posts get an awful lot of dross by way of reviews - fly-bys that say nothing - a certificate and a couple of pumps should be enough. -
    redrider6612: Also, a lot of members reciprocate, so reviewing will often get you more reviews. -
    bossmyers: I do review quite a bit but it doesn't seem to help too much. Oh well, it is what it is. -


bossmyers: I had to take the poem, Ravished off the site. The Lord convicted me that I might be putting a stumbling block in front of other Christians and I never want to do that. bossmyers: Witnessed to a lady cleaning our room at Blue Licks Park in KY yesterday. We talked for 20 minutes and I shared what the Lord can do and what putting our trust in him really means. Do we really trust God to do what he says? Do we try to do God's job for him? I shared the love of God in my own way. by my own means, that I will not disclose, but God knows!


bossmyers: Today is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. Take time to day to thank God for all his wonderful blessings. Praise the Lord for waking up today and knowing Jesus paid the price for me to be free from hell. What an awesome blessing in itself.


bossmyers: If I can do nothing else but be kind to others and share the love of God, I will be happy because it has to have an impact on others.


bossmyers: My little granddaughter Grace is recovering from 2 spine surgeries in one. I spent 11 days at Johns Hopkins Hospital after she had her right lung collapse. She is the source of many of my writings. She is such a happy child in spite of all the health issues she has had. I know the Lord has a special plan for her life.

bossmyers: Today my little granddaughter, Grace Anna, ate part of a muffin and drank a little milk. That is the first she has eaten since surgery. They put 2 rods in her back and fixed her tethered spine on January 25, 2012 at Johns Hopkins. She is 18 months old. Grace is a little firecracker with a rare from of dwarfism, she is the joy of my life.


bossmyers: I love to write poetry most of all. I have been told I need to write about my life but I have never done that yet.
    Lady & Louis: That advice always seems odd to me - it's not like it's a requirement to write about one's own life in prose. (Think of all the stories that wouldn't have been written - the whole fantasy and science fiction genres for a start!) -
    bossmyers: I was referring to the adversity in my life and being an over comer. Sometimes hearing other people's plights in life and how they made a difference by changing their situations does help others. -
    bossmyers: Much of my poetry does come from my life. -
    Lady & Louis: Gotcha! Sometimes the 'write what you know' advice gets chucked around whether one wants to or not. :) -
