Porscheslayer: I know I'm a day late, but I want to say that my thoughts were with the courageous young American servicemen, who gave their lives to help us during WW2. Without them, I dread to think what the outcome would have been.


Porscheslayer: I've now been a member for 1 month and I just want to say what a greate experience it has been so far. I feel that my confidence in writing has grown a lot already, thanks in no small part to the positive reviews I have received and the kindly put suggestions for improvement.


Porscheslayer: I just wanted to say that having seen the news today, my thoughts are with the folk of east coast America. I hope that all fanstorians there are safe and well and not experiencing too much disruption.


Porscheslayer: The Between Hours by Judian James - just read it and it is brilliant. I would rank it alongside W.H. Auden's Stop All The Clocks! Check it out.

    Porscheslayer: Lol, I wish I lived in Beverley Hills so I could be a suspect. As it is I live in the good old United Kingdom of Pauperism. -

    Porscheslayer: My nearest F1 track is Silverstone, but it's in Northamptonshire, some miles from me.
    I have just written a short poem about my love of biking. I can't post it yet as they only allow you to post two items per day.
    I own a Suzuki GSXR 750, which I have christened Suzy 2.
    I remember watching the races at "Indy" and was disappointed at the fiasco that led to it being dropped from the calendar. Still, Austin Texas will be hosting soon. Can't wait. -

    I remember my first fan. It was one of those oscillating ones, you know, the kind that goes back and forth all by itself? I think it was made by Whirlpool.

Porscheslayer: I have read two very emotive and powerful poems tonight and I would thoroughly recommend both of them. The Courage to Try and Philosophies of an Alcoholic are their titles and six stars is what I think they are worthy of.

Porscheslayer: Hi everyone. I've just joined this site in the hope that others will enjoy, or critique my work. I've been trying various things, novel writing, short stories and humour, which I have shared with family and friends. However, there's nothing like putting stuff out there for those not emotionally attached to the author to look at and feedback their views.
