Mr.muttley: A quick apology to my friends on my recent lack of activity. I hit a busy phase, school, work, kids, grandchildren, all needing my attention, and leaving very little to share. I shall try to budget my time better in the future. I hope all is well with you and yours

Mr.muttley: Thank you all for your insight and suggestions on my works. I appreciate all of the remarks and suggestions shared. I find I have much to learn about poetic form and style, and all help as offered is welcome. Poetry has always been a passion of mine, generally used to express a feeling or a thought that, well just popped into my head. Most of my works I hate to admit, took a whole 10-15 minutes to write. My poems where just spur of the moment, and out of the blue. I have never really thought of proper presentation, or using different styles until I found this site. WOW what an eye opener, there is so much to learn and so many ways to express your thoughts and Ideas. Technique and the proper use of it is well represented and explained, I really do enjoy the challenges they present, and have tried my hand at a couple of the different styles. I found it very refreshing, and educational. I thank you all for the warmth and kindness expressed to my work, and also for the feeling of acceptance and of being welcomed, as a legitimate poet. I really have no formal education other then Comp. classes in college and though I did well in them it was a long time ago. So if ever you feel my critique of your work is flawed, or uneducated please let me know and explain. I am only human and have much to learn. I critique more from the heart and how the work effects me, then of educated knowledge. Thank you once again and I look forward to hopefully being a functioning and pleasant addition, to the family of poets and writers who comprise the makings of this WONDERFUL site
