faithin01: well I got to work some today, which was a blessing, seeing how I been off for almost 5 days, not my choosing though. It just comes with the territory of my line of work. Hope everyone is having a great day.


faithin01: so how does one figure out how many words make up 500 on a given piece of work?
    nor84: Microsoft Word will tell you, and so will most other word processors. With Word2010, it appears in a bad at the bottom of your typing. Others may differ. Also, it would depend on the size of the letters, but most are 12 point. Be aware, though, that word processors may count ... or -- as words. -
    Elektra_Azalea: Another thing you could do is try http://www.wordcounttool.com/ All you do is copy and paste your work into the available box and it will tell you how much your word count is. It can help to get that 2nd opinion because not all word processors count the same (usually I get a different count with OpenOffice than I do with Microsoft Word). -


faithin01: i work a job where I am on call pretty much 24/7, 365 days a year, but so far I've been home for the last 3 days, just basking in the freedom to write and share and read other people's writings, it has been such a blessing to just sit back and relax some.
