C'est Moi: Incredibly busy these days and I expect it to last through summer. I'll be about reviewing when I can find time, but probably won't be posting much writing for a while so I'm going to let my premium subscription lapse until I have fewer deadlines.


C'est Moi: Giving up my anonymity in the hopes it will induce some people to sheath their claws.
    Amicus: Please don't let the turkeys get you down...the thin skinned recipients of your honest, text centered and candid reviews who don't like what you have to say and chose to attack you rather than consider the critical input and accept or ignore it are way off base and should be reported. Their trick is always to assume that the reviewer is ignorant and to persuade the reviewer not to review them so they can effectively mute more than the three reviewers the site allows at any given time and protect an inflated meaningless star ranking that apparently makes them believe they write flawless poems that appeal to all. The obviously lack the ability to consider criticism and refute any points you make in terms of the work or genre. Don't expect them to be sheathing their claws but know they are not the majority here and if you want to review their poems and take their funny money pay off, don't be bullied away by them. They need to operate under the same rules we all must and that includes being civil. As I read the offensive comments made in response to your honest reviews, it seemed to me that each of these thin skinned put down artists needed to be reported to Tom Continue to say what you have to say as objectively and wisely as a look at your comments clearly shows is your practice and let the -

    A great deal of the criticism I receive boils down to 'Who do you think you are?' and while I don't think I'm any more qualified than anyone else to review the work posted here, I'm hoping by answering that question I'll be able to spend more time writing reviews and less time defending them. *fingers crossed* -

    I think two main types of people use this site, the ones who want encouragement and the ones who want to improve. I don't think my reviews are as good for people who fall into the first category, so I understand them not wanting to hear from me. Since I don't want to read their replies to my reviews, muting seems like a good solution LOL -

    C'est Moi: Hmm... one of my issues with the site has been addressed quickly, professionally and fairly -- all without my having to do anything to even bring it to the attention of the administrators. I think I'll stay a little longer and see if this improves the fit. We'll see...
