fdgsr: Truth rules what is true, and what you believe. What you believe cannot rule Truth or even your own belief. You could be wrong or right and not know for certain. You can have faith in Truth who is God, even if you cannot be certain what is true.
    mrsmajor: I am certain of the Truth that is in God...My Faith depends on that Truth...I am at peace...no questions as to what I know to be true, or what is right or wrong...I follow God and He is all the Truth I need. -
    fdgsr: The problem is not Truth but the confusion of believing with true. Your false belief could not be true, but truth cannot be false. It is your faith in truth that counts, not what you believe to be true, falsely. Truth rules for or against what you believe. If right on, right on; if false, not true. God, Truth, decides, not you. You are right or wrong, but God could not be wrong, even if you are, or are not. A billion believers or non-believers cannot make a false belief true, or a true belief false. -
    mrsmajor: Speak for yourself, "I am certain of the Truth that is in God"...how you wish to speak to the subject of truth is certainly your right...But at my age, you are wasting your time, and I can see we come from different points of view...yours, that satisfies your ego, and mine that comes from my own years of study... -
    fdgsr: So you believe that TRUTH is a possession, like my body, my name, or my musical instrument. You believe that religion is a version of belief that I can claim or disclaim. I disagree. I believe that TRUTH is universal to all beings in all time and all conditions. If not true in any aspect, religion is not TRUTH. You, like most segregationists in religion, want to own GOD, TRUTH, and your own version of religion. Yes, we separate there. I do not own GOD, TRUTH, religion, belief, or any other sign of a possession as a right of proprietorship, authority, or copyright. I am not the author, originator, or proprietor of any belief -- right or wrong. If it was not true before I said it, it is not true now and never was. I advance a belief and faith in TRUTH over all that is true or could be, as well as all that could not be. It is true that, "There is no God higher than Truth." (Ghandi) You do not get religion from me or anyone else. Religion is from GOD, or it is not religion at all. And, if TRUTH does not rule GOD, any GOD CONCEPT is false. TRUTH is not just a fact like being black or white, but is the fundamental POWER of the deity over all of us; not just our own beliefs and unique quirks of character.

fdgsr: The corruption of thinking and knowledge is so rampant in Christianity that they cannot even be together in Hell where liars go for punishment. Truth escapes Christians and all who fix a rite as a right and a ritual as a wrong. Is it in the language or the faith? The God of all religions is truth and the truth of all religions is true. Truth cannot be false, but any fact can be true or false. Freedom of speech does not protect the liar, but allows truth through the barriers raised against truth. Truth is God for us all.     fdgsr: Though Alvin was a Roman Catholic, he understood the customs and traditions of Islam. I follow the Essence of Islam, according to my own concept of truth. The Essence of Islam is 'One God', and I say that Truth overrules any and all religions and opinions when wrong or in error. Bless Alvin Ethington, wherever he is. God, who is Truth, cannot be false, but human opinions can be. -

fdgsr: Do not trust your own motives. They may be wrong or misleading. Examine your own motives more severely than you examine the motives of others. Apply all legitimate standards to your own decisions. Let Truth overrule you, when justified. But do not assume that your belief is right, just because you have a right to it.


fdgsr: I am rich. I have enough money income to live and to do what I want to do. My computer is my friend and confident. It tells me that I am special. My Facebook says I am what I want to be. My Internet search yields wild results. I find what I want to know without going to a library or using my Encyclopedia Brittanica. I sleep comfortably, eat well, and enjoy life to the fullest.

I can agree with whom I find interesting, and I can disagree without causing a fight or a physical confrontation. I can dig as deeply into my knowledge base for facts only money could buy or long living experience. I increase my education daily and even exploit it. I spend my fund of knowledge without depleting it. I still have all of value that I ever knew, and can give up what is worthless to know just by not using it. If I believe what is not true, all I have to do is to find out what is true. If I believe what is true, it is power indeed.

If you are my friend, you will reveal it to me daily. If not, it does not matter to me. Ignore me if you don't like me; I don't like you either. If you love me, I earned it; I love you, too.

I invest my surplus time in friendship with all who value truth and cooperation. I give more of my resources to charity; you don't have to pay to share with me. I allow you to share my wealth of knowledge at no more cost to you than to keep in touch. Keep in touch.

Watch the sunrise and sunset every day for 365 days and you will live another year. Wake up to 36,500 mornings and eat breakfast and you will live 100 years. Truth has blessed me and may Truth bless you the rest of your life.

    Mithma: Hello sir, it has been a long time since I last spoke to you. I was wondering how my honorary grandfather was doing. -
    fdgsr: Mithma, I just now saw your message. Thank you for the honor. I have long admired your drive and the maturity of your mind as expressed in your writing and in the messages and comments. I have removed all the old comments along with a lot of other saved material. I just published The Parable of the Broken Heart and it has 4 reviews already. I believe that you are about 16 or 17 by now. I have not seen anything you have written and I have not published much for quite a while. The older I get the less I write in FanStory. My age is catching up on me. I will be 86 next month. I am losing the sight of my right eye and can't read with comfort without a magnifier. Fortunately, I learned to 'touch' type long ago and do not need to see the keyboard. I am able to drive my car with the sight of my left eye quite well. My wife and I take care of our grandson 2 or 3 times a week. He is now 3 years old and developing a vocabulary and a very good language skill. I hope you are doing well in school and your other activities. Keep in touch. -

    I was chosen as the President of the school's Interact Club for the new session and it would keep me busy. Our Installation Ceromony will be on 1st August. We became the runnersup of a provincial level Debate contest, last week of which I was the leader.
    THe A/L classes will begin next week. I passed my O/L's with 7 A's(including English Literature), 1 B and 1 C.
