Hi. my name is samantha machal. i'm 17 and i joined fanstory as a way to share my writing with people who enjoy doing just that. my mom passed away when i was 14 from stage 4 breast cancer and it was probably the hardest thing i have ever been through. after she passed away, i went through a deep depression, and attempted suicide. i was taken to a psychiatric hospital and stayed there for about a week. in the hospital i learned coping skills and one of the ways that i learned to help me feel better was writing. i started to write more and more after my mom died because she became my inspiration for most of my writing. i believe everything happens for a reason and everything i have gone through so far has made me who i am to day and has made me stronger as a person. the most important people in my life right now is my dad, my siblings, my best friend andrew, and my aunt chris. she is the closest thing i have to a mom because not only is she my mom's only biological sibling, but she looks alot like my mom. when i am with her, i feel like my mom isnt gone and it has made it easier having my aunt chris back in my life. she actually has a fanstory. her username is zmacgirl. anyways, that pretty much all i have to say for now. if you have anything else you wanna know, just message me =]]
