june prescott: Within the past month a novel that I have co-authored with a friend, called The Dancing Queens, has become available on Amazon.com. Please note: my pen name for you folks is june prescott, but my real name is Linda Foote, which I used for this book. It took nearly 7 months to complete. june prescott: Now a retired social worker, I have rediscovered my love of writing. Over the years I have written poems and short memoirs for family and friends, who have encouraged me to pursue a wider audience. Recently I have found my happy voice in writing short fictional stories that entertain and, hopefully, surprise the reader. I found this site by accident, but believe there are no accidents. I look forward to participating in this community of writers and receiving honest and helpful feedback to improve my writing skills.
