BittersweetCandi: I've been hired, I've been fired. I've been published, I've been rejected. I've been loved, I've been hated. I've been accepted, I've been denied. I've been up, and I've been down. And tomorrow I get to do it all again. |

BittersweetCandi: Does the noise in my head bother you? |

BittersweetCandi: I spent the last four days up to my ears in writers, producers, and directors from 8am to 2am. It was a non-stop barrage or promoting, networking, drinking and debating, and I think I found out what the biggest problem writers in this day and age are facing: Simply put, we're completely out of our minds. |

BittersweetCandi: Each day I wake up and I say to myself "Today is the first day of the greatest time of my life." Myself is quick to reply. "So far." |

BittersweetCandi: Writing is an exercise in leaving reality. You have to forsake the rules of logic and reason and accept that your story world has a set of rules that might not make sense, even to you. Going to work can sometimes be a very similar exercise, depending on your company's HR policies. |

BittersweetCandi: I will soon attempt a juice fast to remind my body just who is in charge. My body is in charge. It reminds me regularly. |

BittersweetCandi: It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing. |

BittersweetCandi: This morning I wrote an epic tale, wove a tapestry of lore and the adventure to end all tales. It captured all things, explored all topics, and would cause the world to come together and finally examine what really mattered and put the past behind. By the time I got out of the shower, I'd completely forgotten it. |

BittersweetCandi: Someone once asked if I worry that people will steal the little tidbits I leave on this page and claim them as their own. I reply that I don't have any more claim to these words than those who read them. After all, the words were already there, all I did was put them in a different order. |

BittersweetCandi: Each day is an adventure anew, with nothing but a single coat of paint from the day before carrying over. Do you clean your canvas? Or do you prefer to live as an Art Guys installation? |

BittersweetCandi: Could madness be sanity denied? The mind seeing the world around it and preferring to be elsewhere? |

BittersweetCandi: This weekend I escaped into a fantastic world of imagination for hours. I was connected to a new place with thousands of people on a magical journey, all of us striving to be our best. And yet when the dust settled and I returned to my mind, I was still alone. I suppose I was the whole time. |

BittersweetCandi: Time is on my side. Yes it is. |
