kellyolsen: So, I'm back with a vengeance. I've been reviewing non-stop, and writing now and then. I'm thoroughly enjoying my membership this time round. My husband isn't as appreciative...my housework is suddenly lacking, but I'm so glad to be back. |

kellyolsen: Well, it finally feels like the fog that has been clouding my mind since my mother's death on Christmas Day is starting to lift. I just re-read my portfolio and the reviews, and it has motivated me to get back to writing again. |

kellyolsen: For those who follow me, I'd just like to mention that I'm not forgetting about FanStory. My mother has been recently diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and I've been spending as much time with her at the hospital. One day soon, unfortunately, I'll have all the time I need to get back to writing...until then, I'm helping my mother as she slowly (metaphorically) pens the final chapter of her life story. |

kellyolsen: I'm starting to get to the point where I take my writing to the next level. I've spent months studying/researching the industry, genres, publishers, agents. I've licked the tip of my pen; time to get down and dirty. |

It is sad fact I do not know a past tense from a present tense from a future tense. My english teacher in high school will testify to that and that was 100 years ago. No amount of books or hypnotism will correct it. I probably will be dependent on editors for life. Regards, Jetco ( Jim ) - | |
