Sherry lives in the antebellum town of Milledgeville, Georgia with her husband and two small dogs.

A memoir, The Witch Next Door, was published in Good Old Days Magazine in October 2008.

Her poem, "Soul's Lament" placed third in the 2009 Portia Steele Awards "Excellence in Poetry and Prose" competition.

She completed a novel, "Paper Angels" as yet unpublished.

Writing is the only way to rid the clamor of characters from her mind. Reading is the breath that sustains her.
