Forestdawn 52, is a wife and mother. married 20 yrs. to her soul mate James. She is a homeschool teacher to their 10 yr. old daughter Sarah.
Their home is a country cottage, located in the forests of Wolf Creek, Oregon USA surrounded buy mountains. A true nature lover.
She has been writing poetry for over thirty years. It was at the age of nine when she started keeping a journal where she'd write down all her thoughts and dreams.
It wasn't until she read Dr.Suess' "The Cat in the Hat" that inspired her into rhyming words. His nonsensical way of writing was intriguing and delightful.
Then in junior high school another inspiration came when she read "The Bells" by Edgar Allen Poe. With the differences in his poetry it added to the vocabulary and ideas she needed to fullfill her desire to become a poet.

Forestdawn says there are so many influences in her life, it is difficult to pin point the one thing that is the purpose of the action. Everyday is an influence of one kind or another, and when she sits down to write another poem, she finds herself fullfilling yet another dream.
