Steven Joseph Bruening is an avid reader and writer of virtually every subject and book he can manage to get his hands on. Though English is not his native language, as a child he learned his English from watching way too many episodes of "The Six Million Dollar Man" - in fact - his older brothers chose his name and named him after the TV show's character, Steve Austin, he is a mildly accomplished writer, cobbling together rather vile excuses for poetry and prose. He possess no formal training in the area of writing, however, having always had a demon lover in form of language, he writes to keep his demon at bay and his mind at ease. He is, by nature, what the profesionnal clinical white enshrouded medicine men refer to as an introvert to the nth degree, perferring to be alone with his music, books, and his demon lovers. Life has not much to offer this wandering soul who is only raging againgst the dying of the light because he was once told that, "even wise men.... rage rage against the dying of light: - Dylan Thomas. So this poor excuse for a being rages war against a light that he would perfer to join with, and to become one with the stars again, for he is lost on this earth in this dismal mortal form. So the writer who waits patiently for his ascendancy does so in his own little room with his own "bell, book and candle" (reference to Slyvia Plath) - wondering which will die out first; the bell's metal to nothing but rust; the candle to nothing but spent wax, or the book to nothing but dust and ashes blowing in the harsh winter winds. Oh, and he tends to have a wicked sense of humor!
