I have been writing poems for 25 years. Put some into a book called Mushroom Marathon in 2008.In 1988, I married a farmer in NW MO. I love our remote farm along the Grand River. In 2010 I published Streams of Poetry, a collection of poems written locally, to preserve some history of area writers and a way of life. People write about the times in which they lived and our county was celebrating 150 year Sesquicentennial. The oldest poem was 1843 in the book. I started writing while in high school. My literature teacher told me a story was 'good enough to publish.'
