Jen Rae is a constantly confused woman. With her recent divorce, she has made it a goal to finish something. She currently has several books in various stages of rough draft, but with any luck, she will finish one of them.

Her first passion in life has always been fantasy fiction. She enjoys writing and reading reading within the genre. Her favorite authors are Mercedes Lackey, Robert Jordan, George R.R. Martin and Anne Bishop. And, of course, J.K. Rowling.

Jen Rae believes that no book is ever finished. There is always something more to write; some scene that isn't quite as perfect as she envisioned it. Which, pretty much explains why she's never finished a book and is always going back and editing.

Jen Rae is a geek in almost every sense of the word. She reads the Star Wars books before they come to the silver screen and has read most of the books following the original trilogy. She even spent Thanksgiving day one year reading the first Harry Potter book before her friends took her to see it, just so that she would understand what was going on before seeing the movie.

Most of her fantasy characters come from former characters in her D&D campaigns. She believes in the power of role playing and has even sought online gaming possibilities just so she can create new characters for future stories.

Jen is also a member of the Fanstory Fantasy & Sci/fi Association.
