poetess495 is currently going to school to help people who, like herself, have been in abusive relationships. Her relationship ended a few years ago and she considers herself lucky to be able to learn from that experience. She agrees that this may seem odd to some. Writing has proven to be therapeutic. Her writing is not just about that time in her life. She always loves to write "happy" and loving poetry, children's poetry (for her nephews) and has gained a recent interest in writing short stories. She just finished her first short story after years of starting them only to never return to them again. She hopes to finish some of her previous efforts.
