The Lady of the Lake is back in Florida after 30 years, and back on FanStory after quite an extended absence. "I feel like I've finally come home," she says of both recent moves.
Her love of water influenced the decision to settle down where she did, growing up on the ocean and lakes of this region. "I began work on a book last year, but there were important pieces missing. I came to Florida to research some of my characters and I found myself falling in love with the places I knew as a child." Within months of returning to her native state, the Lady found the perfect place to complete that book. With its moss-laden oak trees, palms and palmettos, her new home is isolated and peaceful, and yes, it's on the water.
Currently, she works with songwriters and other authors on joint projects. Extensive experience ghostwriting gave her the itch to tackle something under her own name. She has just posted her first short story on this website and hopes it will be well received.
