I was born in England, & lived in England & Scotland until I was 14. I then moved to Australia. I joined The Navy at the tender age of 15, and served 6 years, two & a half in the submarine service. I then left the navy, and did all kinds of work for about 3 years before moving from Queensland to Victoria. I then worked in Local government enforcement for 22 years, before suffering a nervous breakdown. I later began to write poetry almost by accident in 1997. I have won prizes for poetry and photography, but have been unable to find a publisher. I find writing poetry very therapuetic, and find that what I have written helps me to relax and feel nearer to God.
