Laratynn is a Taurus who has always had a creative side. As a child, she spent much of her time creating stories to tell to her parents, and when they didn't want to listen, she told her stories to her dolls and various imaginary friends. Laratynn also used dance as a way of telling her stories. After taking some time off from writing in order to remain focus for college and grad school, Laratynn returned to her favorite activity: fiction writing. She has a few pieces in progress and hopes to get some of her work posted for critique and eventually published.

That's what Laratynn does for fun. To pay the bills Laratynn has been working in state government for 8 years (gasp) and as much as she is loathed to admit it, she really enjoys it. It's rewarding (sometimes) and barely pays the bills but there's never a dull moment for her and Laratynn can honestly say that (with the exception of 2006) she's never been bored or disappointed in her work.
