Music, Writing and pondering.

I'm new to the writing scene. I wrote my first poem when I was 7-8 years old. writing went dormant for me for decades. I love music and enjoy playing bass, drums and guitar. I started writing again when I was in my 30's and it went dormant again until something happened in my life in my 40's that opened up subconscious doorways in my mind and then the words just started to pour out. I have a couple hundred song lyrics and poems written. I have a hand full of raw music recordings also. I have never entered a contest or poetry slam, nor have I earned any money from it. I guess I am here to get feedback and network into a new career since my construction days are over due to medical issues. I look forward to hearing feedback and reading what others have written.
