I am a First grade teacher who loves to escape in the experience of writing. I also enjoy fostering a love for writing in my students. I read A LOT of children’s text, which I think sometimes derails my ability to find my voice, in my own expression, but perhaps I need to embrace the “child like” under tones that come through, as it may be my natural niche. A thought I pose to my audience, as I embark on this exciting new outlet in my craft!

I spend a lot of time in nature with my puppy Maui, looking for all the beautiful details of the natural world, and listening to the messages the universe sends. Although I live in RI, Hawaii holds a place in my heart. I have visited there several times and plan to continue the tradition as a legacy to my father.
