Domari: Hi. My name is Frustrated. Writing for the first time in years and every time I sit down to work on it all I think about is how much I suck at this. It's not even finished but I'm wasting my time editing what I've written so far. Supposedly you're not supposed to do that right? It's better to get that first draft done and then go back and fix it later. But I can't help it!! I see too many crappy sentences and am compelled to rewrite them. Honestly, I'm not a very good writer yet. I know I'll get better. I won't quit. But right now all I can see is a lot of badly written prose. Well, I'll get back to it. In the end, I'll leave it to the community to decide whether to "pass it" or "trash it".
    Harambe iz ur Daddy: Try starting with the opposite what you want. If you want to write something serious, write something stupid. If you want to write something flowery, make it plain. If you want to be funny, write about misfortune. 90% of what I write is stupid. Reviewing other stuff and joining the daily prompts is a great way to get started. 🦍 -
    Domari: I don't understand. Are you saying I'm being self-righteous? If that's the case, then I apologize. I didn't mean to come across that way... If anything, I feel insecure. I really want to be a good writer. But I know I'm not. I have a lot of growing to do. And I'm hoping I'll get better with practice. And I'm hoping for constructive feedback from people here to help me improve. I'm sorry if anything I've posted offended anyone. -
    Domari: Harambe is Ur Daddy...thank you for the advice. That's a really good idea. I'm actually using a contest prompt to write the story I'm working on now. And yeah, I need to get back in and read/review more content. I was doing that but kinda fell off... -


Domari: Currently working on my first short story. I've got a little over 800 words so far and I just realized that I never came up with an actual plot. What the heck am I writing??? Ah, well, I'm sure it'll be fine.....
