I have been a poet since age 10, when I concocted a poem about my obsession with clouds on my grandparents' typewriter. I still have that poem.
Writing of any kind has always come easily to me and is my preferred method of communication. For the last few years, at the start of each New Year, I have said to myself 'this will be the year I put my writing out there.' This is me finally honoring that and dipping my toe in and looking for honest feedback and a place to write and develop my craft.
