This is a rough way to discover you won't be getting a Pulitzer Prize. Seriously though, good poem made up of something randomly seen and turned it into a poem with meaning. Creative. Thats how I enjoy making poetry too at times. Nicely done.

That is beautiful, I particularly enjoyed sapphire sky and hordes of blossoms. Not so keen on May's showers but only because I go camping in May. Good luck in the contest.

Working as a ESL teacher sounds like an interesting job. You get to meet people from all different cultures. President George H. W. Bush also granted green cards to all Chinese student in the US after the 1989 Tiananmen Massacre. What a spooky dream Fernando had that predicted his going to heaven.

Hello Tom,
when I first saw this post, I thought the whole thing was going to be about homosexuals. Are we allowed to call them that anymore? It sounds better than some names I suppose. You're way out of my league buddy with all the language, language. Some how I made it through school, and I think English was my best subject, but only because I could write interesting essays I suppose. Even teachers like to be entertained. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent opinion piece here, Dolly. I think it's the right thing to do as law-making is a crucial role of the government to collectively ensure the welfare and security of its citizens.
Governments rake in tens of billions of dollars every year from taxes imposed on alcohol and tobacco products. While not all tax revenues may be directly allocated to healthcare, a significant portion of it supports health-related programs and services. That revenue will have to be replaced, and at least initially, a ban won't amount to an equal drop in people needing health care, but it is a step in the right direction.
Canada is working its way toward the same thing and that will be a huge economic boon for Indians who can still sell tax-free tobacco products on the reservations.
