Such a beautiful offering of memories and true eyes of faith through the love and the feelings the combination of both can bring -- you really know how to wield that pen, Sergeant!! Magnificent, sir - I've but a virtual six, but know that the six is so very well deserved! ;) :) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

This is a beautiful poem...the best writing I've read so far (but then I'm a new member to this site. :)
My favorite paragraph was the first one with the brother climbing ahead.
"Arms and legs ahead of me" was such a terrific image, especially for those of us, like you and me, who are part of close, loving families. It is wonderful that you can show rather than always explain.
In the last paragraph, you brought it back to the children, so it was a wonderful closed circuit.
I did not grow up a religious person and although I am spiritual now, I think it's likely I don't feel as connected with spirit as you do. Your poem makes me wish I were.
Keep up the great work!

The story of life starts, with Jesus :"
Jesus praised his father
for hiding his teachings from the wise.
His pleasure to surprise little children with.
Oh dear and oh my!
Only children and their creator savior can see
love and sunshine venting
through the stretched and open arms of a tree." Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

This poem, The Jesus Tree, has many views of God filtered through this image of a tree and kids who play. The message from God is made for the pure of heart to hear and trust, while the supposedly wise admire only themselves.

The clapping of trees hands and the rocks crying out to their wondrous Lord, and yet Earth will pass away while Apple of God's eye are the focus of His salvation. The swarming people's. And only a remnant of them, because of choice. Well done beautifully written, blessings Roy
