A very well-written seventy-five word flash fiction about the older making room for the young to live when the older one's life comes to an end.

Thanks, Sandra. This one was a bit too vague for most readers to understand.

This would be sweet and a nice way to influence ourselves in the next occurance of ourselves, at least that is what I took from this. A thought provoking write.

I wonder is this a story about de-dublation and your alter ego takes your play to live instead of you. Anyway thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

AngelA had her chance at living a life, now Angel B will replace her.

Your story held my interest. It seems like this lady decided to live. Excellent flow of story and I like the image of the angel. You created a story in few words and best wishes for the contest.

Thank you for giving this a look. I changed the ending to hopefully make it clearer.

Not clear on which woman is doing / saying what and why-- e.g. which woman wonders what SHE ... ? I realize it's not easy in 75 words to clarify who's who, but I'm lost. Good luck. Cheers. LIZ

I'm delighted to see that you clarified this; fine work! I've upgraded the rating accordingly.

Ancient memories filled her (Angela's ?) mind; she (the woman ?) smiled and vanished. Does she, Angel B, (Angela ?) decide to walk away vs jump?

Rewrote the ending again. Take a look.

It is hard when you are the only one of those you knew left. It makes you think lots of crazy things. That is what went through my mind as I read this piece.

This is nice. I do have one concern. Is the woman's name: Angela, Angel, or AngelB? You seem to have three different spellings of the name. It is a good ending, the woman for some reason, we are not told, choosing to live longer.

Very interesting. I wish you luck in the contest.

AngelA is standing on the parapet.
Keeping her balance while turning, she saw a young woman.
    The young woman was AngelB.
