This was interesting and well written. The caring part is so important in a relationship, and you spent enough time to realize what this man was all about and be about to overlook him being overly verbal. Those other ladies at the singles were the losers.

I found some elements of your story endearing and charming. Other elements, I found humorous, like when the fresh fish scared away the would-be sharks. LOL! I also liked your comparison of him talking like a Gatling gun. Very nice!
