Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

A plethora of questions to answer this question prompt.
A love slipping away, with all questions unanswered because they are never asked. A poetic flow leading to a crescendo of pain and sorrow, with no release.
A fine entry for this contest.

What started as 'unabashed' love, should probably involved a little of 'conversational getting-to-know-you' as well?

Enjoyed!

You have met the requirements of the Question writing contest: Write a poem in which every stanza either begins with a question or ends with a question.

Best of luck in the Question writing prompt contest.

This is an excellent poem with the question form. Your poem captures the journey of being in love and then asks why does it all go wrong. It is a true to life poem. You have a smooth flow of lines and rhyming words that adds to the strength of your theme.

The rhymes are great.
'We once did everything in tune,
And once, you thought I hung the moon.'
The contrast between then & now is sad, but your sing-song meter makes it humorous.

We always ask so much of someone else in a relationship when really it is us who need to sort us out first, I learned so much about myself when I lived alone and relied only upon myself to deal with life, I finally grew up. It is a hard realisation late in life. Being contented and at peace with oneself is true love, I hope this answers your questions here, love Dolly x

I can feel the weight upon the shoulders. Unasked questions often grow and grow till they consume the mind and lead you down a dark ad twisted road.

This poem has a wonderful steady beat as I read through it. It was easy to stay with from beginning to end.

The bursting of stars in the beginning of this poem slowly shatter to nothingness when the waning begins. Why? In the beginning it's all new in the end it's blase.
A wonderful treatise of questions about how love begins and ends. Well done, and good luck.

This is a very interesting poem. Every question, I can feel the anguish, the confusion, the need to get these questions off your chest. Why, why, why! Why is it so hard to ask questions, even when you want answers? I think a lot of us are afraid of the answers. This is a beautiful, although slightly sad poem.
I wish you the best of luck in the contest Mystery Writer!
