Your poem brought my mind to a person in the Bible by the name of JOB. That which he feared the most came upon him.
Think about it.
Stay safe and abide by the rules.

"Corona Virus Frightens Me', is an extremely well-written and thought-provoking piece. It was a pleasure to both read and review this talented poet's work. It's only my opinion, but there are very few people the Corona Virus, doesn't frighten. I look forward to seeing your next post.

An excellent poem on the dreaded Covid-19 virus and the burnout that many of us are experiencing. I loved your humor on the subject and I think we are need a healthy dose of humor to get us through.
Well done and now go wash your hands (again).
Blessings and stay safe and well.

This was excellent. The Corona virus frightens me, too. It's been going on for a long time now, and we've been told it could still be around at Christmas. :( I liked the way you wrote this, the repeating 4th line in each stanza really pushes this nightmare home. Well done and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

Hello my friend
Nice entry for the Covid-19 burnout writing prompt contest. I like the presentation. You followed the rules and mentioned covid19.
I agree with you. It's hard but we must do it to stay alive and/or save someone else. I had a cold for three weeks and I am scared I have it. I'm terrorized by the thought of being put on a ventilator..at that. Point most people don't make it. I'm having a covid19 test today...sigh...

The author's words are alarming, interesting and creative. The Corona
Virus frightens me too. The words of this poem flow and connect well.
I like the repeat of words the author uses at the end of each stanza.
The artwork is unique and compliments this poem.

I think you expressed very well, the fears of all of us, that we just pretend that Corona doesn't exist. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

This poem is clever, forthright and very well done. It inspires compassion: for you, for us all. You have summarized the situation very well, and done so poetically. It's absolutely honest.
The illustration is excellent. I'm not sure if that's someone being overcome by Coronavirus/ fear of Coronavirus, or Coronavirus being wiped out by a soap bubble, but whichever way, it works.

You have most certainly captured the essence of the contest challenge. I've been quarantined (like you) for what feels like forever!!! And, like you I wonder about the sanity of those who ignore the warnings, as I sit in my living room with my TV and my snacks... and if the virus continues, I have Netflix and Grubhub, so I'll be OK!

I loved this and voted for it because it reminds me of my husband. He is deathly afraid of the virus and so am I, but someone has to shop and pay Bill's so it falls to me. I'm sure what you have penned here is a reflection of how many people feel. Thanks for sharing.
