This is a very moving free verse poem. It is a tale of perseverance and the struggle that is life. One must toil and work and bend and then in the end there is never a guarantee that you will awake the next day.

A good free-verse poem about endurance and perseverance. The life of farmers is hard and needs much endurance, especially when the weather strikes hard and ruins the hard work. If then also the partner dies, it needs even more perseverance to go on. Her prayers have helped him and keep on helping him even after her death.
The poem has a good rhythm and flow. One comment: In the last stanza you use once "your" whereas in other places you say "her" Be constant in this lovely poem and change this your for her as well.
