It is soon July 13th? Are you flying to see your mother? I hope things work out so you can. Sanity is a great thing to have; we can't do anything about the weather unless we wear a mask, bring sanitizer, and wash our hands continuously.

yes, this is certainly affecting everyone.
I pray for a vaccine soon, or at least a
good treatment.
My son usually visits for my birthday,
which is tomorrow. But not this year.
He can't take the chance of exposing
myself and my husband.
Soon, though...I hope you will be traveling.
I enjoyed this...
blessings...

You did a good job with your desire to travel despite the virus. I hope you are able to see your mom. Hopefully by July, some airlines will be in the air again. I liked the way you explained how you are watching travel videos and the way you could almost feel like being near the ocean. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
Respectfully, Jan

Travel is completely curtailed because of the virus. If people have money travel will begin earnest. I miss the days of spontaneity and freedom.

Another great chapter in your coronavirus sage. Travel is another one of those things changed by the epidemic, and all you can do now is watch Rick Steve's videos and dream of going where you want to go. Now there will be more layers of beaurocracy to go through; medical checks on top of the security checks. And you don't know what state the country will be in when you get there. Lockdown, or not? Get ready for those temperature checks....I think it will be years before international travel gets back to where it was. Get ready for skypocations too.....estory

This was a fun entry in your short story collection! You are very true, I don't think many will be travelling soon. Even i won't be booking anything for a while, just in case!

Well for once, I am praying for the flights to get back on schedule, because I have a flight booked prior the pandemic.

Good morning, Iza!
OH, gal, I'm with you! Let's pack a bag and go today! :)

suggestion, if I may ...
I smell the water and even swimming. >> before 'swimming' insert the words dream I'm, imagine I'm, of something to tie that in. Need a verb before 'swimming'.

Coronella is the only one who can travel whenever she wants >> great line! Made me smile.

She crushed the economies, the confidence and the freedom. >>I'd eitherr leave out the 'the's in this line (was that confusing?) or I'd add 'of countries' at the end. It makes a smoother read.

LOVED your play on words with 'global plane' and 'no plane could fly'.

documents you want me to bring >> dcuments do you wnat

from China and visa worry free from you, >> Not sure what you mean about visa worry free

I'd capitalize 'travel syndrome' to make it more like a real thing. :) And I'm with you on that, too.

You forgot to double space before your last paragraph.

OH, this was great! I smiled the whole way through. I'm told you'll love Honduras. My granddaughter goes every year on mission trip. She nearly got stuck there this year though. Know why? Yep ... Coronella!

Have a great weekend, Iza. Be blessed, my friend.

It's funny, my daughters and my wife have regular coffee break meetings online, every week, and they were saying how there lives are at a good pace, are perfectly safe, and wish it might stay like this, and yet others are going nuts. Well done, don't go elsewhere Iza, well done, blessings, Roy

Enjoyed another of your funny journal entries. Love to hear what others are doing with their "in time." You are now an arm-chair traveller. You can be a travel guide if the world gets up and running again!

Do I need clearance from China? (spelling)

Thank you for the pleasure of reading your journal
Carry On!

I do hope the travel ban will be lifted by July so that you can see your mother! Probably by the end of June, tourists will be welcome in Hawaii. Right now, you have to stay locked down for two weeks in a hotel room if you go.

Is the same thing in Romania, and no planes from North America are allowed to enter the country
