Hello Poet, I really like the concept behind the poem--vowing loyalty to an omnipresent and eternal deity. However, I think this poem is too short to really drive home the importance of what you are proposing and does not connect with me as a reader. I believe a poem needs to stand alone with minimal author's notes to be effective. I hope you do decide to expand this because the idea behind this write it very clever. Best wishes to you in many worlds.

I think that you wrote a great poem! You did an excellent job of combining the universe with the pledge of allegiance. It is very creative how you put it together. My favorite line is "One Multiverse under God." Great poem!

As I read those words you have in your personal notes beneath this piece, I remembered the bible saying something about the "lion and the lamb shall lie down together" It would be really magical to live at a time when all creatures were at peace and we didn't want to be better or cleverer or wealthier than the man next door. So, you" vow fealty to the Multiverse under God's rule"? I guess that's probably where I stand too. So here we are a multitude of two. Who's next? cheers Cass
