Hello, Sally. First let me apologize: I ran out of six stars just a while ago. I regret this because your poem is so creative and moving, it deserves the highest rating. I am so inspired by your words. I have often wondered what Heaven would be like, and like your words espouse, it would be overwhelming! A wonderful place an awesome, compassionate God shared with His people. My very favorite passage in the Bible, besides the 23rd psalm is the one you mention about the criminal asking God to remember him when He comes into his Kingdom. This passage always makes me cry too. I can't imagine being on my deathbed and having the Savior assure me I would be in heaven that very day. But we are already assured this by His word.
Thank you, Sally for such a beautifully moving poem.
Being with God and surrounded by love forever are mighty things to look forward to.
Blessings for a nice week.
Cindy

Nice entry, I like your definitions of heaven and it might feel true -

I believe heaven has three chambers, or levels, if you will. It is layered above us, and God is seen in all three parts.
Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

I enjoyed your explanation of the three heavens. I tell my friends that I just want to make it to the apology room and assure them there is such a room. If I can make it to the apology room, that will be good enough for me. I'm sure I will be there a long long time, just making apologies. I love the night time sky and all its wonders. When I was in law school, my friends and I would sneak into the planetarium just as a class began, lie on the floor and enjoy the class. We were so stupid! We thought the instructor had no idea we were there on the floor. Now that I am older and think about this, of course he knew and just allowed it. Maybe he was pleased that we enjoyed his course enough to "steal" it.

Thank you for the honoring review and six star rating, dear Elon. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Feel free to enjoy it for as long as you like. I've watched these videos all week. I had ten to post but could reasonably put in only four. My personal thoughts are: the heavens are free anyway, God doesn't charge us to enjoy them.

Thanks again for the wonderful review and sharing more of yourself. :)
Sending you my best today as always,
    Sal xoxo

Wonderful Miss Sally.
Described exactly as I also believe
it to be.
Yes, the third Heaven is spoken of
in the Bible, no doubt of it's
existence.
You told this beautifully.
Blessings...

This is a beautiful entry for the Glimpse of Heaven contest, Sally. Your sincerity comes through strongly and you've explained your understanding extremely well. The joy of heaven lies waiting for many of your readers and this just wets the appetite to be there one day in the presence of the Lord. I love the thief-on-the-cross told about in Scripture, too. If he had lived, that man would have been completely different than the one who was sentenced to die. It is part of the glory of our faith that we are changed, and the change is in a very good way that we never before would have expected. Thank you for sharing this wonderful posting, my dear friend. xo

AMEN, Sis. what a wonderful testimony. You said it all so truthfully. I am looking forward to seeing Heaven and my Saviour who dwells there as I know you are too.

Thank you, Sally, for your encouraging treatise on Heaven, and its three levels. What an amazing photo!
You have quoted and referred to some very memorable scripture selections -- I am always amazed by Isaiah's reaction! Yet it shouldn't amaze me, as the full experience of God's holiness must be overwhelming indeed.

One little error:
I still believe it exsists
-->
I still believe it exists

Thank you for generously sharing the videos about the heavens most of us can see, and the Heaven most of us can't see -- yet. It surely is something to look forward to, especially because of God's Presence there! I love your closing words, about the promise of Jesus to the thief on the Cross, to you -- and to each of us who calls upon Him in faith.

Dang. How did that happen? I have a blind assist keyboard that drives me nuts. It saves misspelled words and offers them again and again. You don't. Kss a thank and are always so gracious and kimd. Thank you so much for the excellent review and helpful critique. Sending you my best today as always,

You're very welcome, Sal. Spelling to me isn't a big deal, it's the creativity of a writer that's most important, and you have loads of it. Technology can also be frustrating, as I often have a problem with Autocorrect on my cellphone keyboard changing words automatically, making me look like an ignoramus. I'm sure you're aware of some of the error-ridden work that's out there, it's crazy! But I still try to help, when I can.
I was wondering how you interact with the computer -- so, it's called a "blind assist keyboard." I guess the computer is also reading this to you now? You must have made some difficult adjustments, over the years.
Love and blessings, Mary Kay xoxo

This is a beautifully written essay on the three heavens, Sally. I agree with each point you made and can see they are scriptural sound. I pray that it reaches into others and draws them close to the Lord. Well written!

I absolutely loved this posting, Sally. I consider myself spiritual, not religious and this made sense to me on a metaphysical level. My mother was an agnostic and always said we'll know for sure about an afterlife when we go. Well, Mom, I know you're smiling down from heaven now and saying to yourself I was right, haha. Hugs, Lou

Wow, stellar review and starshine here in the reviewer's box, dear Lou. Thank you so much. It is appreciated and is so encouraging. Yes, I think many are surprised by the afterlife. My mother was a mix of different religions but believed on Christ in the last moment. Sending you my best today as always,Sally xoxo

It's always interesting for me to hear people talk about what they think Heaven is what it might look like. I figure if I'm wrong I'm not out anything. I hope there is something out there. I hope that when I die go to Heaven and find peace from everything and I'm just happy.
