This was a perfect cinquain, and I like coffee, so I liked this. It fits all the requirments, and I see no need for improvements on it at all. Nice job with this.

I hate coffee..but I love your contest entry. Very catchy, singsong verse, it almost made me want to drink coffee...almost! Thanks for sharing, and best of luck in the contest.

Nice subject matter for Cinquain. Writing prompt requirements are all in the your poetry. I find it a little bit unfamiliar with the ending java so I tried to find some words for coffee and it;s weird that it's the only synonyms i can find with two syllables. So well done.

Starting the day with an Espresso is really living dangerously. lol. I love my morning coffee, but a dark blend of Santos Colombian is energetic enough for my liking.

Excellent cinquain that is sure to have everyone heading for the coffee pot.

Getting that first cup in the morning takes precedence over several other morning things. I am addicted. Your cinquain is skillfully-written, with well chosen words to describe what we simply must have when we get up.

You have met the obligations for this poem. I almost think "life giving" should be tucked away somewhere in this Cinquain. :) It is a hard poem to make interesting - this one is a bit boring but to me most of this style is. (the spilling is funny as I seem to always spill on a white shirt (murphy's law I suppose)
