Ha! Mac is 'open', huh? Nah, not at all.

Barbara, I love your characters, and the plot is rich. I've been having technical difficulties, and there's no way to get things fixed,so I'm not here a lot right now, but this was great!

I am so sorry you have to read this with no money attached, but I really appreciate it that you did. Thank you. I am sorry to hear about your technical difficulties.

Barbara,

I don't know. This copy looked awfully clean. Maybe double-duty is good for you. Ha

This was good stuff. I like her being so guarded -- but make sure that's showing up throughout and not just here, where you're focusing on it. Know what I mean?? I don't remember really getting that sense from her for a long time now...

Thanks -- enjoyed!

I will make sure it shows. I think, or I hope, it's gradually showing up, to finally burst out. Thank you.

I enjoyed this chapter in your story as they continue their relationship. I like how you address the real life affects of her past so that it's hard for her to trust someone. The guy does a great job of being patient with her. Good luck with your social distancing teaching. Bill

I haven't been on here for a while, and I can still read your post and know the story. As always and wonderful edition. I can see the bond between Mac and Logan getting stronger. Mac as usual is trying to keep her feelings to herself. I am looking forward to when the book is published and I can read it from cover to cover. I hope you are staying safe with this virus. I am on the front lines being a Nurse one reason I have not been on here for a while. Very good, flows well and is easy to follow.

Poor Edger, he's certainly going through it. I like that he barks to be let out when the need takes hold! I'm wondering who on earth it is that is doing this to Mac, and how awful to have a death threat painted on your desk! This was a really good part, Barbara, and I really enjoyed reading it. Well done! :)) Sandra xx

Another great chapter in the book St. Louis. Too quickly I come to the end. I feel like I am in the midst of a long movie, that I only get snippets of every now and then. I'm waiting on the next posting!

I know it's hard to get about 80,000 words all out a once. LOL Thank you for sticking with me.

Wow! 80,000 words! A little here, a little there and you'll have it all one day.

Yes, I try to post about 1,000 at a time. I'm afraid more than that would not get read on FS,

This is well written. I don't see any editing problems. You do much better than me. You're writing always leaves me wanting more. I am surprised she didn't react much at seeing the writing on the desk. I 'm also surprised they only found one bug.

It seems that the threats to Mac never stop. Now Edger has been tranquilized, the crime notes have been shattered, there's a threatening note, and a bug is found. That's enough to cause major stress. You know, I would have liked to have been in on that interview with Mrs. Whitmore. I thought you might have included just a brief scene. letting us know if she had any information that would help solve the case. Mac is loosening up a bit, and Logan senses. that, I believe. Great chapter. judi

Mrs. Whitmore had nothing to do with this case. It's just the strip joint scenes where McKenzie and Logan got closer. That's the only reason it was in the story. So there was no more reason for it to be there. Thank you for the kind review.
