How are things in Canada? Well, we were better and now we are getting worse again. I cannot wait until the day arrives and we can walk down the street and smile, say hi, without being weary. Did you get to visit your family?

I read with much interest, and dismay at its length, this timely essay about the life during this lethal enemy, the corona 19 virus. Since I am retired, I work , sometimes, from home every day. I enjoyed your ideas, illusions, and descriptions.

As much as we love our families, we can still get cabin fever big time. (I am also dreaming about drive-throughs, since I am not allowed to drive anywhere right now). I see you have personified the virus as a person who could sizzle in the face of holy water.

I'm sure many people are saying and screaming the same words you are. I doubt the happy thought of 'working from home' will appeal to many any more after this enforced one. We like to do things on our own terms, not being told to do them. I really enjoyed reading your story, it is exactly how life is today. Well done and good luck in the contest. :) Sandra

Wow. I'm normally not checking contest entries but you had my attention from the beginning with this one and to the end. I guess when you're stuck at home with each other some wild thoughts can go through your head. So many deaths will now be attributed to corona so who knows if people aren't killing each other at home. LOL

This is so true, Corona become the number one excuse for deaths, any type of deaths.

I think that this sounds like what so many people are going through during this pandemic, perhaps animals too. If you're someone that requires your space, forget it. It appears that everything is in close quarters, in your face and personal. I like what you've done with this and enjoyed reading this humorous and well written work. Well done!

I hear you and I can relate. I think we are all about to lose it. What I'm afraid of or the really crazy people loosing it. You don't want to mess with some people who don't have to go far to fall off the edge. Nicely written story. Good luck in the contest.
