A ventilator is a machine that provides mechanical ventilation by moving breathable air into and out of the lungs, to deliver breaths to a patient who is physically unable to breathe, or breathing insufficiently. You mentioned fans or fan-ilators to keep cool which we call air conditioners here.

And now stats are starting to show that the ventilators may be a bad choice in treating it.... more harm than good.... sigh. Thanx for the latest addition, my lady! ;) Yvette

Forget any bad English. Your writing and thoughts are so humorous, so off the wall. Informative too. I had no idea about planes being hijacked and Romania's part in all this. Scary!!!

Unfortunately this is true, people are attacking trucks with medical supplies and stealing from hospitals. When people are fighting for their lives, there are others that are thinking how to make the next buck.

Lol! I guess your French language background confused you into thinking that "ventilators" had something to do with "vent" (wind) ? It's shocking that people are robbing medical supplies. All three states on the west coast all gave New York ventilators to help. That is how it should be.

Among the bad things, it's nice to see that there are people out there that are willing to help - seeing this I think there is hope for humanity

I was wondering what the confusion was with the ventilators. You explained it well. You are right about the government causing more problems for all with their way of doing business. I did not know of the hijacking of planes with these precious medical supplies. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe. Respectfully, Jan

Ah the mad scramble for ventilators, gloves and masks. We are going to be making 300 million masks, and hundreds of thousands of ventilators, and by the time they get to the hospitals, the main part of the crisis will be over. They're already talking about opening everything back up again in May. In some ways, even though this is an infection that can ravage elderly patients with underlying health concerns, this was a media driven event. This is the age of trends, and it already appears as if all those warnings of millions and even hundreds of thousands of deaths is apparently way off. Now they're forcasting 60,000 US deaths. That's way off from what they said two weeks ago. And nobody mentioned God in any of this. Could it be that we are getting an Easter miracle? Just goes to show, computers don't run the world, though they may run scientists. estory

I think we will get our Easter miracle, we just have to believe and pray. And I agree with you, life is not happening in statistics and overstocking with things that will not work long term is not the solution.

Great post!

Saw a couple of typos:
"My oh my, countries are stealing supplies from each other's." (from each other.)

"Of, stop me now, I am going crazy!" (Oh, stop...)

By rights the corona shouldn't worry anyone, because worry only leads to bad health, there's nothing one can do above what is being done, worry changes nothing, but diligence does. But it's something to write about I suppose. Mind you, if one doesn't worry, but writes about it, that's good, well done, blessings Iza, Roy
Typo : Now I am (stack) stuck?

Those masks sure come in handy especially with all the coronavirus drama that is happening in NY. Love your writing style by the way. Have a blessed day and stay safe.
