I have really gotten to know you through these stories. I hope that life is treating you well. And that you are safe from the Lady "C". She is a pill that seems to inflate instead of go away.

Agreed, we can kill her with humor.

I really admire your attitude in documenting this tragic event that has stopped the world in its tracks. Humour and faith are what will get us through - faith in God and faith in the scientists and medical people to get a vaccine. Until then, bleach, gloves, mask.
Your words are so accurate about realising we have old people to care about and neighbours to connect with.

Thank you so much for stopping bye and taking a chance on this chapter. You are so right all we have is laughter and prayers, the TV and the news are too scary to follow and I think after a while they are just noise in the background:)

Yes, like you, Clorox is a hot commodity. You did a great job with this post. It is factual, and interesting on top of being well-written. The part about discovering families and elderly parents is so true. Sadly for many it took the virus to make some realize their value. I like the idea of the mass prayer. Thank you for sharing. Respectfully, Jan

A fun and lighthearted post Iza about this situation we find ourselves in. I am choked on bleach in my house already and that was before the Covid pandemic because I am more scared of the cockroaches! They are huge over here and look so scary and they hate bleach! Much enjoyed, love Dolly x

I don't like them either:) I am lucky, where I live is to cold for them to survive. Thank you so much for reviewing and following my little runt.

You are a real 'mess' sometimes - lol!! ;) Seriously, though, this is just what I needed tonight to lighten things up -- kinda need to take a break from 'teaching' stuff for a while cuz it's messin' with my 'happy'!! ;) :) Thanx for the smiles and the reassurances, my lady! ;) Yvette

You are welcome, and I know is not easy to teach nowdays. My husband is a teacher and I am getting deaf by his screams over the computer:) when he is teaching a class. He forgot that is not in class anymore:)

Yeah, I never saw so many people wash their hands so many times. This is the new normal. But I really liked how you turn to your faith, that is the most important thing. It's a great time to turn to the Lord at Easter, when we have this great hopeful message of resurrection and overcoming death. Remember, the virus comes from satan, but Jesus is our Lord Protector. estory

Well done!

Saw some typos:
"that poor girl that was orphan" (that poor girl who was orphaned)

4th para. "before the Lady Coronella grace us with her presence? (graced)

5th para. "The smart guys knew, and stock up"(stocked)

6th para. " Now I am stocked up baby! I got myself some nice Cloroxella and some holly water." (holy)

6th para., last sentence "Hevis going to save us one more time." (He is)

7th para. "There is one week left, until Easter. I just have to stay strong and not gave in this mass hysteria. By Easter, there is going to be a cure. I learnt my lesson: never gave up, move on and keep on praying. (not give in) (never give up)

8 para. "and His almighty Son." (Almighty)

Para 10. "Coronella taught us one thing: we have families and for the first time we got stuck together 24 from 24. (24/7)

Para 10. "We learnt that we have neighbours, and we start talking to each other: (neighbors) (started)

I liked your humorous -ella names from Coronella, Cloroxella and how you ended up with showing us the good that came with this plague.

"Did you know that Cloroxella have disappeared from the city stores" (has)
"Hevis going to save"
You keep writing "holly water" but I'm pretty sure you meant "holy water." But I know it's Mr. Autocorrect, right?

What is the difference between Holly and holy? I am always confused, and yes I meant Holy water:)
reply by lyenochka on 12-Apr-2020
    Holy is "saint / sainte"

Holly c'est un buisson de houx.
